Ingredients


4 fresh salmon fillets

1tsp. garlic powder

1tsp. chili powder

1tsp. cumin, ground

½ tsp. kosher salt

¼ tsp. black pepper

1Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

1 lemon, sliced

The Pico de Gallo:

2 medium tomatoes, diced

1 small red onion, diced

1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced

¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

2Tbsp. lime juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Steps


Step 1

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Step 2

Mix garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.

Step 3

Rub the spice mixture all over the salmon fillets.

Step 4

Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon and place a few lemon slices on top.

Step 5

Grill the salmon for about 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

While the salmon is grilling, make the Pico de Gallo. Mix the diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño pepper, cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a medium bowl.
