Ingredients
1 pack Gluten Free spaghetti
1lb. ground beef
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28oz) crushed tomatoes
1Tbsp. tomato paste
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
½ tsp. Kosher salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
¼ cup red wine
2Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Recipe Steps
Step 1
Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the onion is soft and translucent.
Step 2
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked about 6-8 minutes.
Step 3
Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir everything together and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Step 4
Pour the red wine into the skillet and stir everything together. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for at least 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the flavors have melded together and the sauce has thickened.
Step 5
While the sauce is going, cook the gluten-free spaghetti according to the package instructions until it's al dente: drain and plate.
Step 6
Once the sauce is done, spoon it over the plated spaghetti.
Step 7
Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Then, enjoy your delicious Spaghetti Bolognese!
