1 cup water

1 inch piece fresh ginger, grated

1 Tbsp. pure honey

1 tsp. granulated sugar

1 cinnamon stick

1clementine, juice

Recipe Steps


Step 1

Bring the cup of water to a simmer over medium heat in a small saucepan.

Step 2

Add the grated ginger and the cinnamon stick to the simmering water. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for about 5 minutes to infuse the water with the flavors.

Note: You can simmer it longer for a more spicy ginger taste.

Step 3

After simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the honey and sugar until completely dissolved. Taste and adjust the sweetness to your preference.

Step 4

Squeeze in the juice of one clementine into the mixture and stir well.
