1 shot decaf espresso or ½ cup strong brewed decaf coffee

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

1 Tbsp. honey or sugar

¼ tsp. vanilla extract

Recipe Steps


Step 1

Brew a shot of decaf espresso or make a strong cup of decaf coffee.

Step 2

Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Step 3

Using a whisk, vigorously whisk the milk until it becomes frothy and doubles in volume.

Step 4

If desired, add honey or sugar to the milk, and stir until dissolved. Then add vanilla extract, if desired, and stir.

Step 5

Pour the decaf espresso or coffee into a mug. Then Slowly pour the frothed milk into the mug, holding back the foam with a spoon until the cup is almost full.

Step 6

Now this is totally optional: Spoon the remaining foam on top of the latte. Sprinkle some cocoa powder or cinnamon on top of the foam for extra flavor. Serve the decaf latte hot, and enjoy!
