We absolutely adore this breakfast bowl. It's essentially oatmeal and chocolate, forming the base of this delightful morning treat. We added a touch of sugar and powdered milk to elevate its richness. The best part? You throw it all in a pot, place it on the stove, and boil it until it's ready.

Just keep stirring and let it do its thing. Once it's done, you can eat it right away. But for this recipe, we decided to go a bit extra. We topped it off with some fresh raspberries, which add a fantastic tangy twist and pair perfectly with the dark chocolate.

We also sprinkled in some dark chocolate pieces, making this bowl even more indulgent. To add a bit of nutty goodness, we included a dollop of peanut butter on the side. And to crown it all, we drizzled melted dark chocolate all over the bowl because, let's be honest, you can never have too much chocolate.

So, if you're ever stumped about what to whip up for breakfast and you're craving something chocolatey, this is your answer. It's a sure way to make your morning delightful. Here at the Brimly Test Kitchen, we're in love with it, and we know you will be too.

Ingredients

2 cups gluten-free oats

1 Tbsp. cocoa powder

2 Tbsp. cane sugar

4 Tbsp. milk powder

3 cups water

½ cup raspberries, fresh

2 Tbsp. peanut butter

2 Tbsp. dark chocolate melted

½ cup chocolate, pieces

Recipe Steps

Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine the gluten-free oats, cocoa powder, sugar, milk powder, and water. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste.

Step 2

Place the saucepan over medium heat. Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and have absorbed most of the liquid, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 3

Once the oats are cooked, remove the saucepan from the heat and let it sit for a minute to thicken and cool a bit.

Step 4

Transfer the cooked oats to serving bowls.

Step 5

Top the oats with raspberries, peanut butter, melted dark chocolate, and pieces of chocolate.

Step 6

Serve immediately and enjoy your rich, chocolatey breakfast bowl! This recipe is versatile, and you can add other toppings like sliced bananas, nuts, or seeds according to your preference.
